Morris Calderon, Chairman of the Board

Founded Calderon Brothers Vending Company in 1949. Leveraged financial resources and forty years business experience to found Calderon Textiles in 1983.

 

 


Azher Khan, President and Partner

Native of Karachi, Pakistan. Credited with original concept of importing quality linens and distributing them to the U.S. market. Brought to the company years of experience in purchasing import linen items from countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, Hong Kong, and the People's Republic of China. Holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the American University. Primary areas of focus are linen rental and retail sales, offshore production and purchasing, finance and administration.


Samuel Calderon, Executive Vice President and Partner

Brought ten years of sales experience to found Calderon Textiles. Responsible for developing network of contacts which became foundation of current customer base. Attended Indiana University. Currently oversees national account sales for health care and hospitality industries, marketing, domestic purchasing, warehouse operations and customer service.


Elaine Kaplan, Senior Vice President, Admistration, and Partner

Joined Calderon in 1988. Credited with the creation of the inside sales department. Currently oversees all Administration, Finance and Information Technology aspects for Calderon Textiles. Holds a B.S. desgree in Business Administration from Indiana University School of Business. Brought to the company previous experience in banking and airline industries.


Paul J. Stokes
Chief Financial Officer

Joined Calderon Textiles in 2002. Holds a MBA from Indiana University in Finance and a BA in Math and Economics from Denison University. Brought 17 years of experience in the financial management of manufacturing and distribution organizations. Responsible for the company's Finance and Human Resource activities, and assists with Information Technology.


George Newman, Director of Operations and Product Development

Brought 35 years of textile industry experience to Calderon. Holds degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration. Responsible for product quality control, inventory management and evaluation of new products.


Connie Burking, Marketing Manager

Joined Calderon in 1998. Holds a B.S. degree in Business Management from Indiana University. Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans, including direct mail campaigns, advertising, internet marketing, product and market share analysis, and customer satisfaction measurement.
